نحافة الوجه .. وطرق العلاج السريع لتسمين الوجه النحيف

تشكو كثير من الفتيات من نحافة الوجه، وترى في ذلك حرجاً أمام الآخرين، ويمثل ذلك لهن ضيقاً.
 ونحافة الوجه لها عدة أسباب، منها: العامل الوراثي، فضلاً عن الإرهاق الشديد الناتج عن بذل مجهود، أو قلة النوم، وكذلك عدم تناول الغذاء المتوازن.

في البداية يقول الدكتور محمد خليل ـ استشاري أمراض الجهاز الهضمي والكبد والتغذية العلاجيةـ : "نحافة الوجه لها عدة أسباب، ومنها: قلة النوم، والإرهاق، وعدم تناول الغذاء الصحي المتوازن، وقد يكون العامل وراثيا، كما أن هناك عادات خاطئة مثل اعتياد نظام غذائي لمنطقة معينة بالجسم دون غيرها.

وهنا – يضيف ـ ننصح بتناول الخضروات والفاكهة الطازجة الغنية بالفيتامينات والبروتينات والمعادن الضرورية ومضادات الأكسدة، على أن يتم تناولها كل يوم، مع الحرص على تناول فيتامين c ,a، وشرب قرابة لترين من الماء على الأقل، كما تفيد العصائر الطازجة، وممارسة الرياضة والتمارين الجسدية في الحفاظ على تناسق ونضارة الجسم بشكل عام، وبخاصة الوجه.
ويقول: هناك بعض حالات النحافة التي ليس لها حل سوى العلاج الجراحي للأجزاء التي بها تجويف.
ويستطرد قائلاً: نحافة الوجه لا تمثل عيباً يمكن أن تخجل منه المرأة؛ لأن الأهم هو نضارة البشرة.  لافتا أن المرأة التي تتبع نظام حمية للتخسيس يظهر أثر ذلك على وجهها أولا، قبل الأماكن الأخرى من الجسم.

خلطات الأعشاب لتسمين الوجه
وللأعشاب دور كبير في علاج نحافة الوجه، وحول هذا يقول دكتور أحمد مصطفى ـ استشاري العلاج بالأعشاب ـ: "هناك طرق كثيرة يمكن بها القضاء على نحافة الوجه، ومنها: تناول كوب من الزبادي، مع إضافة ملعقة عسل أسود أو عسل نحل، وملعقة خميرة بيرة يومياً، ولمدة شهر كامل وهذه تؤتى بنتيجة طيبة بإذن الله".

 وهناك وصفة أخرى لتسمين الوجه وتتكون المقادير من: 5 ملاعق حلبة مطحونة، و3 ملاعق سكر، وملعقة عسل أسود و4 أكواب ماء، ويتم تجهيزها بغلي الماء جيدا، ثم يتم إضافة العسل الأسود، وتترك على النار لمدة10 دقائق مع التقليب المستمر، ثم أضيفي الحلبة وتترك على النار لمدة 5 دقائق، وترفع من على النار وتصب في كوب، ويضاف إليها السكر وتشرب ساخنة لمدة شهر يومياً قبل النوم وستجدين نتيجة مبهرة.

 أغذية مفيدة لعلاج نحافة الوجه
أما عن الفواكه: فينصح بأكل الموز، والعنب، والبرتقال. فضلا عن تناول الخضروات، خاصة الخيار والبازلاء فهي توفر فيتامين B الذي يفيد في علاج النحافة، وأكل البطاطا نيئة، وشرب الحلبة، والسحلب.
 مضيفاً أن أكل السمسم يفيد في علاج النحافة، وينصح بأكل كوب صغير من السمسم يومياً لمدة أسبوعين؛ فالسمسم ذو قيمة عالية، ويساعد على علاج النحافة والهزال بشكل ملحوظ ؛ لاحتوائه على زيوت مفيدة جداً للجسم، ويساعد على نعومة البشرة..
 أضف إلى ذلك أن تناول سبع تمرات مع كوب من الحليب، مضافاً إليه ملعقة عسل نحل على الريق مفيد جدا للجسم، كما أن حبوب الخميرة والزبيب مفيدة جداً لنقاء ونضارة البشرة.

وحول رأى خبيرة التجميل جيهان رمزي عن كيفية التعامل مع الوجه النحيف تقول: "لابد أولاً أن نفهم أن الوجه أنواع، فهناك وجه على شكل مثلث، أي مسحوب من الذقن.  ووجه مطبق من الخدين، ووجه يبرز عظمتا الخدين، ويجب على كل فتاة أن تعرف شكل وطبيعة وجهها؛ لتتعرف أيضا على طرق التعامل معه، لتبدو في شكل يبرز جمالها، وتشعر بالرضا والسعادة،  ولابد أن تعرف الفتاة أن نضارة الوجه أفضل من كونه نحيفا أو ممتلئاً.
 ولتحقيق النضارة يجب العمل على إجراء عملية تقشير للبشرة، باستخدام صنفرة تقشير مرة كل أسبوعين؛ لإزالة الجلد الميت ويصبح لون الوجه فاتحاً.

ماسكات لنضارة البشرة وتسمينها:
 ولتحقيق النضارة للوجه يجب الاهتمام بالغذاء الجيد، خاصة الأغذية الغنية بالحديد وكذلك تناول العسل والتفاح.
 وتحذر جيهان صاحبة الوجه النحيف من النوم بدون عشاء، وتجنب عمل الرجيم حيث إنه يضر بالوجه قبل الجسم، ويمكن عمل ماسكات تعمل على نضارة البشرة، ومنها: ماسك البقدونس المطحون، ويوضع على البشرة لحمايتها من الاصفرار والبهتان.  
وماسك الزبادي لعلاج نحافة الوجه، ويتكون من  4 ملاعق زبادي، وملعقة عسل نحل، وقطعة كبيرة خميرة بيرة وملعقة بيكنج بودر وماء ورد وكبسولة من فيتامين"أ"، ويتم مزج المكونات جيداً حتى تصبح غليظة القوام، ويدهن بها الوجه لمدة نصف ساعة، ثم تلطف بماء فاتر، ويوزع المزيج على الوجه، ويترك لمدة ثلث الساعة حتى يجف الماسك على الوجه، ويتم فركه بأطراف الأصابع في حركة دائرية، ثم يشطف الوجه بالماء الفاتر ويدهن بماء الورد.

مساج البشرة بالزيوت
وتشير جيهان إلى أن تسمين الوجه يتم بعمل مساج للبشرة مرتين أو ثلاث مرات يومياً، باستخدام خليط من الزيوت المفيدة للبشرة، مثل: زيت السمسم، وزيت الزيتون، وزيت عباد الشمس، وزيت اللوز، وزيت العنبر، وزيت الخروع، وزيت النعناع ويمكن خلطها جميعاً معاً أو بعضها، ويتم فرك الخدود بطريقة دائرية، بداية من طرف العين فهذا يؤدى لملء الخلايا الدهنية الخاصة بالبشرة؛ فيزداد حجمها وتجنبي الاقتراب من الأنف حتى لا ينتفخ.

اى كولاى وطرق الوقايه

مؤخرا حلت على ساحة الأوبئة بكتيريا الخضراوات "إي – كولاي"،  الخضروات  التي تعد المصدر الأكثر أماناً للإنسان والأبعد دائما عن البكتيريا الضارة وأمراضها، وبعيدا عن الذعر الذي تسببه هذه الأمراض، كان على الإنسان أن يتحداها بالعلم والوقاية ليحافظ على حياته.
 رئيس قسم الصحة المهنية ولجنة مكافحة العدوى د/توفيق المدقة يتحدث لـ "لها أون لاين" عن هذه البكتيريا وأسباب انتشارها، وأماكن تواجدها وطرق الوقاية منها في حوار خاص.

- بدايةً لو تحدثنا قليلاً عن ماهية بكتيرية وباء "إي – كولاي"، والمخاطر التي تسببها في حياة الإنسان؟
الحقيقة أن خطر بكتيريا إي- كولاي يكمن في أنها تفرز سموما داخل أمعاء الإنسان أو الحيوان، ومن الممكن أن تنتقل عن طريق تلوث الطعام والشراب للإنسان، وهي بكتيريا معايشة بالدرجة الأولى، ولم تكن تسبب في البداية مشاكل خطيرة إلا أنها بعد أن تطورت جينياً أصبحت تفرز سموما خطيرة تؤدي إلى تحلل الدم أو الفشل الكلوي، أو نزلة معوية حادة يكون البراز فيها مصحوبا بالدم، وقد تؤدي مخاطرها الجمة للوفاة، كونها عنيدة للمضادات الحيوية المعتادة، فيما بيَّن علماء صينيون وألمان أنها مزدوجة التركيب إذ تتكون من جزعين مختلفين تماماً، مما أدى إلى فشل المحاولات العلاجية التي تتركز على جانب واحد من تركيبة البكتيريا المزدوجة باستخدام المضادات الحيوية.

- مؤخراً أعلنت أبحاث علماء وخبراء بأن سر انتشار البكتيريا الغامضة ليس الخضار، وإنما بذور نابتة؟
نعم في البداية كان الاعتقاد السائد أن الخيار الأسباني مصدر انتشار البكتيريا إي – كولاي، ولكن اكتشفوا مؤخراً أن بذور اللوبيا في ألمانيا هي سبب انتشارها مما دعا أسبانيا مطالبة ألمانيا عن نسب المرض لها.

- مما ورد طريفاً عن بكتيريا إي – كولاي أنها تصيب النساء دون الرجال، ما رأيك؟
نعم، لكن اكتشاف الأسباب يحتاج إلى المزيد من الدراسات، ولعل البكتيريا معروفة قديماً، لكن ما برز مؤخراً منها بعد التطور الجيني وإفراز سموم مازالت تحت المجهر؛ لعمل الدراسات والأبحاث التي تؤدي إلى نتائج من شأنها الكشف على سبل العلاج من البكتيريا القاتلة.

- كيف يمكن أن نحفظ أنفسنا من بكتيريا إي – كولاي، و ما طرق الوقاية منها؟
أكبر وسيلة للوقاية معترف بها لدى الأطباء على مستوى العالم وتقي بنسبة 80% من العدوى هي غسل اليدين باستمرار في المواضع المختلفة للإنسان قبل وبعد الخروج من المرحاض، وقبل وبعد تناول الطعام، والمحافظة على النظافة العامة، بالإضافة إلى معرفة طرق انتقال الأمراض؛ لتجنبها.
 وكذلك عدم الإكثار من تناول المضادات الحيوية خاصة في ظل عدم وجود داع لذلك، فكثيراً من الناس تتناول المضادات الحيوية المختلفة لأسباب تافهة؛ مما يؤدي إلى ظهور أنواع من البكتيريا المضادة للمضادات الحيوية مما يؤثر في المستقبل على الصحة العامة للإنسان.

- من جنون البقر إلى أنفلونزا الطيور، ثم إلى أنفلونزا الخنازير وغيرها من  الأوبئة التي كدرت حياة الإنسان، والآن بكتيريا الخضراوات التي تعد المصدر الأكثر أماناً للإنسان، برأيك هل انتشار تلك الأوبئة طبيعياً؟
هذه الأمراض موجودة منذ القدم، إذ كانت منتشرة وتقضى على ملايين البشر، إلا أنه في العصر الحديث أصبح هناك نوع من الثقافة واتباع إجراءات السلامة والوقاية عبر التطعيمات، ولعل السبب في انتشارها أنه بفضل التطور العلمي في مجال البحث والعلوم الطبية أصبحت عملية الكشف عنها سهلة.

- ماذا عن الاعتناء بالأطفال لتجنيبهم الإصابة ببكتيريا إي- كولاي؟
لا شك علينا الاعتناء أكثر بالأطفال وتوعيتهم؛ لأنهم في طبيعة تكوينهم الأولى لا يدركون المخاطر جيداً دون التنبيه إليها، فيجب على الأمهات والآباء أن يحرصوا على توعية أطفالهم بمخاطر الأمراض، والعمل على مراقبتهم في كافة أمور النظافة، والتأكد من قيامهم بغسل أيديهم قبل وبعد الطعام.

- كيف نعزز حب الوقاية لدى أطفالنا؟
يبدأ ذلك من الصغر عن طريق التطعيمات، ومن ثمَّ الاهتمام بإرضاعه اللبن الطبيعي، حيث يقيه من الكثير من الأمراض، وعند الكبر يكون ذلك بتعزيز حب الوقاية لديه بتعليمه أساليب الوقاية من المخاطر عن طريق القصص أو السلوكيات التي يقوم بها الآباء كقدوة للطفل، بالإضافة إلى تقديم المكافأة البسيطة له إن التزم بتعليمات الوقاية؛ مما يزيد لديه حب تلك السلوكيات والاستمرار عليها على كل مرحلة من مراحل عمره.

E. Coli Outbreak and Ethanol By-Product - Is There a Link?

On September 23rd, 2007 a 20 year old Cold Spring, MN woman named Stephanie Smith ate E. coli contaminated ground beef. Five days later, with severe intestinal cramping she was admitted to a local hospital. Today she is in a drug-induced coma at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

While ethanol production is surging, pushing the cost of feed corn higher, cattle producers have started to use a by-product of ethanol production in livestock and poultry feed. This by-product is called distiller's grain (DGs) and it is presently a common practice to replace a percentage of corn based livestock and poultry feed with DGs.

Researchers at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine conducted three studies over a two year period to assess the effects of distiller's grain on beef cattle. What they found has led to questions regarding the increased incidence of E. coli 0157 outbreaks this year.

KSU researchers T.G. Nagaraja, Professor of Microbiology at the College of Veterinary Medicine and Jim Drouillard, Professor of Animal Sciences and Industry found that beef cattle fed a diet consisting of 25% distillers grain experienced a "two fold increase in the incidence of e.coli 0157" as measured in the animals' manure.

In a December 14th, 2007 KSU News Release, Nagaraja and Drouillard point out that additional research is needed before they can make recommendations to the cattle industry regarding their findings. Nagaraja added that they need to determine if there is " a component in the product (DGs) that sets up the growth of E. coli 0157". He also emphasized that distiller's grain does not contain E. coli.

Statistics from Cattle Network Magazine (CNM) online indicate that "The projections assume that 75 percent of distiller's grains is used in domestic livestock sector feeding. Of the portion of distillers grains used for domestic livestock feeding, 80 percent is assumed to be used for beef cattle, 10 percent for dairy, and 5 percent each for poultry and hogs".

In the CNM article Livestock Sector Use of Distillers Grains, a Coproduct of Ethanol Production the publication indicates that" Cattle feedlots located close to an ethanol plant will benefit from a steady supply of distillers grains".

The Center for Disease Control reports that on September 29th, 2007 21.7 million pounds of frozen ground beef patties were recalled by the USDA due to a multi-state outbreak of E. coli 0157:H7 infections. The first case was reported on July 5th and by October 26th, 40 cases of E. coli infection were reported. According to the CDC, two people developed a condition called hemolytic-uremic syndrome, a form of kidney failure caused by E. Coli 0157: H7.

KSU researcher Mr. Nagaraja emphasizes that "there is no evidence to suggest that a recent increase in the number of meat recalls related to E. coli 0157 has any connection to the practice of feeding distiller's grains". He added that "more research is needed before cattle feeders and the public should reach definitive conclusions".

According to a November 11, 2007 article in the Topeka Capital Journal online, Minneapolis based Cargill subsidiary Emerald Renewable Energy is set to build a $200 million dollar ethanol refinery in Kansas. US ethanol production is projected to hit 10 billion gallons annually, ahead of government goals for 2012.

"The plant in Shawnee County would inhale 40 million bushels of corn annually. (And about 1.1 million gallons of water a day). It would expel 100 million gallons of ethanol for blending with gasoline and 330,000 tons of distiller's grain, a high-nutrient feed for livestock. The process would generate an estimated 500 tons of air pollution each year, much of it carbon dioxide tied to global warming".

From a recent St. Cloud(Minnesota)Times newspaper article covering the Stephanie Smith story, "Doug Schultz, spokesman for the Minnesota Department of Health, said he can't confirm whether Stephanie's illness has been directly linked to the Sam's Club E. coli bacteria outbreak, which is still under investigation". The ground beef was apparently supplied by Cargill.

The KSU researchers aren't the only ones that look forward to further research into their disturbing findings. Is there an association between the increased use of distiller's grain in animal feed and a spiraling incidence of E.coli contaminated ground beef?

It's too early to say but, a two fold increase in the incidence of E. coli 0157 in beef cattle fed distiller's grain from ethanol should propel research into the fast lane, especially in light of the recent 21.7 million pound ground beef recall.

Meat industry lying about E. coli contamination

The meat industry has been misusing data to make it appear that E. coli contamination of meat is decreasing, said Barbara Kowalcyk of the Center for Foodborne Illness, Research and Prevention.

Executives from the American Meat Institute (AMI) have claimed success in the beef industry's efforts to reduce contamination with the dangerous E. coli strain O157:H7. According to the AMI, inspection data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA's) Food Safety and Inspection Service show a 45 percent drop in E.coli prevalence between 2000 and 2008.

Yet Kowalcyk calls this is a misuse of data never intended for "year-to-year comparisons."

"USDA's E. coli ... testing program is strictly regulatory and was not statistically designed to estimate the prevalence of E. coli O157:H7 in raw ground beaf," she said.

Although a 45 percent drop is in fact found in the data, Kowalcyk notes that different facilities were tested and different testing methods used each year. She called the AMI's conclusion as valid as comparing a person who weighed 300 pounds in 2000 to a different person weighing 150 pounds in 2008, then concluding that the average weight of the U.S. population had dropped 50 percent.

"I don't think it's possible to draw any conclusions about the prevalence of E. coli from these data," she said. "This is not a small issue, this is a big one."

The AMI has also cited Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) data showing a 44 percent drop in the rate of E. coli infections between the same years. Yet rather than comparing individual years as the AMI suggests, the CDC actually compared 2008 data to composite rates for 1996-1998 and 2005-2007, in order to account for changes in population size and other variables.

In comparison with the 1996-1998 composite, 2008 saw a 25 percent decrease in E. coli infecion, Kowalcyk said.

The "Busy Mom" - Is it Your Choice?

Let's face it. We live in a fast paced world. As moms, it is hard to keep up with everything on our plates. We have piles of laundry, piles of dishes, and piles of school papers. It is also our responsibility to teach our children the importance of community service. How wonderful it would be to have a magical machine with the ability to create peace in the midst of chaos. With this machine life would be slower and we would feel like we have all the time in the world. If I had this machine I know what my life might look like: I wake up 15 minutes early every day to meditate and pray. I have time to spend on laundry and housecleaning because there is nothing on my schedule. My children have time to relax and play because they have eliminated many of their extracurricular activities. Each night my family sits down to dinner together and shares the best parts of their day. One night of the week is designated as family game night. Saturday night is date night and the children enjoy their babysitter. Everyone in the family is happier and less stressed. Real connections with loved ones exist.

Is this a "Fantasy Island" that can never be reached? No it is not. In fact, no magical machine is needed. We all have the power to create any kind of life we want. We can transform our stressful lives into more relaxed and enjoyable ones. We may have to rearrange our priorities. We may have to make some hard choices - eliminating some of the activities and responsibilities we once believed were necessary. We may have to develop new habits or change old attitudes. But it can be done. Change is not always easy, but isn't a happier, less stressful life worth it? Think about this: The lives we model today will probably be the types of lives our children live as adults. We do have a choice - choose wisely.

Afghan Women Celebrate International Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the  March 8 Women’s Detachment of Afghanistan held a meeting in Quetta, a city in northern Pakistan near the Afghanistan border, to commemorate the founding of this day of protest a century ago and condemn the worsening violence against women in Afghanistan. The mass meeting was held with the active cooperation of another Afghan group, the Revolutionary Youth Movement. More than 800 people filled the hall and another 200 could not get in because there was no more room.

Most of the participants were women and girls, most of whom were students. Among the male participants, the majority were students as well. The young women speakers from the two organizations made presentations about the deteriorating situation for women in Afghanistan under the U.S.-led occupation.

Afghanistan has become one of the worst places in the world in terms of violence against women. In addition to suffering from the general atmosphere of insecurity, they have been raped and kidnapped by the armed forces. They are the victims or threatened victims of rape in the prisons and women’s shelters. They face death by stoning for non-Islamic behavior. They also suffer violence in their home and from their family, such as beating and murder by their husbands and so-called honor killings at the hands of male family members. Not only has the occupation of the country by the U.S. and its allies in the name of liberating women not improved the situation; in many aspects, in particular regarding the violent oppression of women, things have gotten worse. Nothing speaks more eloquently to this reality than the fact that the number of cases of women committing suicide by burning themselves to death has skyrocketed over the last five years.

The afternoon-long meeting, held on March 9, received solidarity and support messages from nearly all the local schools and educational institutions on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

Egypt 25th January Revolution Message To The Whole World

On the 25th January, 2011 the whole of Egypt was taken by surprise; the young and the old, the rich and the poor, the civilian and the army and most of all President Hosni Mubarak. Nobody could have really believed that such protests would have gathered such strength. However, the demonstrations, which then became the revolution, was started by the Egyptian youth after several years of protesting on social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Throughout the previous years there were small demonstrations, but especially after the most recent fake parliament elections it was obvious that corruption had increased and the protest groups became larger, exploded on 25th January as revolution all over Egypt It was time to make change happen rather than hope for it.
So, the only way the voice of the youth could be heard was through social media - the form of media that could not be controlled by anyone - least of all Hosni Mubarak. Of course,
Egyptians everywhere were demanding more freedom, the removal of corruption and bribery from the core of all government departments, the change of the regime of the country which included Mubarak to step down and the removal of the Minister of Interior specifically because of the arrests and detaining of political people. We demanded that the Emergency Law be cancelled so that the police no longer have the power to just arrest anyone they choose for any reason they choose. The greatest change called for was the change of the constitution so that anyone could candidate themselves to become president other than the son of the previous president. This demand was met after a few days of protests. Once the protestors realised that their demands could really be met and their voices really were heard there was no stopping them and the protests became greater in number and in power. The youth asked for so much and got it. This year the heavens opened and they got more than they could ever have dreamed possible.
Little did people all over Egypt know that the things they were hoping for were about to come true. Little did the world know that hope and despair, frustration and anger, purpose and destiny were all boiling in the pot together and that on the 25th January the pot would boil over and spill out onto the streets for the whole world to see.
This has created a new face of Egypt. A face, which shows expression rather than hides it. A face that smiles from deep within at the changes and what this will mean for our children and our children's children. A face with eyes that sparkle with hope and gladness. A face, which can look to see what changes are needed and can now speak for those changes to come into place with a voice which speaks on behalf of those who have no voice. The old face of Egypt showed powerlessness, poverty for many and despair that their country would never change so that they might enjoy the freedoms that many other countries enjoy. The changing face of Egypt was like a woman giving birth: painful, messy, long and tiring and sadly with much spilt blood. But the baby was born - the future Egypt has arrived. A new era has dawned.
So what has been achieved at the beginning of this new era? President Hosni Mubarak has changed all the ministers in his Cabinet and the constitution has been changed so that anyone can choose to stand for election. Justice has also been served on the Minister of Interior and all the other corrupted ministers who are now facing court proceedings. There have also been many other political reforms, for example: Egyptian parliament will be re-elected in a free election with international control - without this protest Egypt would have stood under the dark clouds of control for maybe another 30 years and more. Changes made in Egypt through the original youth protests have also secured democracy for people across the whole of the Middle East: similar constitutional changes have happened in China, Jordan and Yemen. Syria and Bahrain have also started demonstrating to achieve what Egyptians all across the land have achieved in 2 weeks.
With this protest, Egypt will become, and already is, a so democratic society where the voices of the people determine what Egypt will be and will become again. The strength of the Ancient civilisation has risen again like a phoenix from the ashes. Egypt will take it's right position in the world now - no longer will we be held back.
